Winter wonderland
The sequel was on the big screen when I had my last trip to the lake. And with a session planned for the end of February the weather has as taken a turn for the worst, or would that be for the better from a carpy picture point of view?
So here’s a little ditty to the fishing tackle languishing in sheds and garages up and down the country.
Sing along, you know the tune …
–
Do you want to catch a snowcarp?
Come on, let’s go and fish!
I never see you anymore …
Come out the [shed] door.
It’s like you’ve gone away …
We used to be best buddies
And now we’re not.
I wish you would tell me why!
Do you want to catch a snowcarp?
It doesn’t have to be a snowcarp …
… could be a perch!
Do you want to catch a snowcarp?
Or push the barrow around the lake?
I think some company is overdue …
I’ve started talking to …
The pictures on instagram!
It gets a little lonely online …
Look at all these empty swims …
Just watching the leaves float by.
Do you want to catch a snowcarp?

Perhaps I should take the twins? I would have my very own Elsa and Anna! Having said that, I think they will let me go on my own, they wouldn’t hold me back!
And as it says on the movie poster; “Trust your journey”.
Tightlines and tag-lines.
